Burnished aquatint by Ramiro de Undabeytia Ramiro de Undabetia was born in Madrid in 1952. He studied at the Escuela Nacional de Madrid from 1962-1969. He came in contactwith engraving at the workshop of Antonio Lorenzo1967 then collaborated with “el Grupo 15” from 1971-1985. He established his own workshop to givetechnical classes in engraving in 1979. Undabeytia has been a professor, teaching engraving in the Centro Cultural NicholasSalmerón, and has worked as an illustrator of editorials.
