Festival of Light the Color Woodblock Prints of Micah Schwaberow

Softbound first printing of 300, 172 pages, printed on Mohawk Superfine. two tone semi matte finish cover with copper foil stamping on cover and spine, printed and bound by Edition One, Point Richmond, California.

This is a loosely chronological collection of all of Micah Schwaberow’s color woodblock prints, including his edition records, several essays, a step by step documentation of the making of Morning Light, China Cove and samples of some of his earlier works and other media. A very personal project for us, this book began as a collaboration with Micah. His joy in the project and enthusiasm never waned until his passing in 2021. It took us two more years to complete the project, but we believe Micah would have been thrilled with the result - it’s image driven, as he was - and documents not only his career, but his growth as an artist and as a person.

Please see also the hardcover edition, which includes one of Micah’s original woodblock prints
