Etching by Justin Ward- edition of 15 Justin Ward grewup in Central California. After graduating from Carmel High School in 1979, heattended art school at California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland andreceived a graphic design degree. While at CCAC he taught himself the art ofetching by using the printmaking studio facilities at nights and weekends. Hehas been a working professional art director for over 20 years but never losthis initial love for printmaking. Although heavily influenced by Whistler and by local Montereyartist/etcher Armin Hansen, Justin has a unique style that combines years ofstudying the old masters and his own fresh approach to printmaking.
